Looking forward to pics! Is this a repeat breeding, or were you just saying you've used the same stud before?

Hi Moons,
I think when you do a repeat ltter after having healthy great pups the first time it's less stressful,
you know what you're getting, sometimes two dogs don't match up well, and can have an unwanted
genetic trait lurking, I am more comfortable with a repeat breeding.
My little black girl Skye is 5 months old now, she's a black beauty!
I can't wait to take her to her first dogshow in June when she turns 6 months, she's not an akc showline, but
the exposure is so good for a youngster
She is from a repeat breeding, everyone was sooo happy with their pups the first time around,
that word of mouth spread
I can't remember, did you keep a pup from your first litter?

by Two Moons on 12 May 2009 - 17:05
This is a repeat breeding and no I didn't keep one the last time.
Several people missed out the first time around including me so thats the reason I decided to go ahead with this litter.
I will keep one this time and this will be Midnites last litter, I didn't get her for breeding purposes and I hope to work on her tracking this summer. I may breed the pup one day if things fall into place and try to breed up once again but thats a long way off.
I just got Indys DNA back from AKC and may breed him to Maddy next year, he's still got to be x-rayed at two, but I have no doubts that he'll pass with colors and the two will make a nice match one day.
Its a lot of damned work and upsets the routine around here, and I'm not getting any younger..lol
My oldest son has a real passion for the dogs and he can carry on after I'm gone.
Moons.

Red Sable--allergic to sperm????Do you break out? Or just use the Epi pen?

Kelly, that's how Kalie was, totally underfoot, muzzle in my hand if my hand wasn't on her, poor thing wanted reassurance 24/7! She was a wonderful mom, though, did everything right. Oh, BTW-- the puppies come OUT the wing-wang! LOL!

So good luck to all you expectant mothers in the Mother's month of May! And may healthy, bouncy puppies fill your hearts & your houses! jackie harris
