I'm sure you can bring up numerous dogs that showed better at the trial...I've heard most of the comments about Judge Lance Collins...now I find the difference in what people see quite interesting. You have some that only notice the points or faults with a performance and others that notice the strength and commitment of the dog and what he represents...
Here is a question for the group....which dog would you breed to...Ginoginelli v Karthago or Gator....just by tooking at there videos....

Yes, the Dog did well and he has a good bite, but that is not what the competition is soley about. The point of the WUSV as you know is to score high points which Gator did, But to say it was a faultless round is wrong, It was not and one point only proves that without his grip etc, The Dog did not SIT, and i can tell you what you already know, there were numerous Dogs in that Competition with just as good a bite and grips as Gator so where does one go from there.. However it is water under the bridge, a great pity he did not compete in the 2011 WUSV. Now that would have been interesting. But overall a very nice Dog and i for one would be proud to own him.

Hi Steve.....you are absolutely correct concerning the point issue..my original post said forget the points:-)
I posted it to see what people would focus on....and I'm not surprised by most focusing on the points...If breeders are breeding to point dogs...which they are....the bigger picture (at least for me) is the loss of true working character...which I believe Gator possess.

Trials are the shop window were yuo dress your dog to show him. The performance by Gator is a points performance there were many dogs at that event which presented more raw power energy and speed the russian dog for instance scored very low due to multiple commands to out but got the biggest applause from the cowd because all through he showed PROTECTION work and NOT sch point scoring, this year at the BSP Pike de Lupos Nero showed similar work with rawPOWER from the agresive barking through the escape to the reattacke at the end he scored 96 the bites were better harder and the aggression in the blind was super

Born in 2002 with only 14 puppies registered on working dog eu would not suggest that breeders flocked to him

Judron thinks no such thing....reason...black hope maybe:-)
I like the dog....no apologies here. I could care less about his trial scores. No dogs work on the trial field qualifies him as the answer to all the GS problems. I like him much better than Oliver Val-bella-dog, the Russian dog...but to each his own.

maybe that's thier mistake....but, I know plenty of dogs that have breedings that aren't on workingdog.eu I also know plenty of dogs that have multiple breedings that shouldn't be bred...booyow!
