Kalibeck

Yes Jan, it sucks being on this side of the bed rail, mostly because I know all the bad things that could happen to me. I am continuing to advocate for myself, & leaning heavily on the encouragement & prayers of my friends. & family to try to be strong. Some days it's too much, then I turn it on autopilot, & let Carl & my dogs & my faith carry me.
Some days it just has to be that way, & that's ok , maybe learning to let go, & let Love take over is the lesson being taught here. Thank you for the beautiful flower, the Yellow Rose, & for your friendship!

Never give up - there are for sure moments of desperation, but you are not alone.
As long as there are family and friends supporting and loving you, there is always a real chance.
And you don´t need to be strong all day long, sometimes everybody needs to rest, even  the strongest.
Thinking of you from far away, but close to my heart

Well, Carl & I had our first chemo experience! We weren't sure what to expect, but all went well. I got a little hyper from the steroids they give with the chemo to prevent reactions, so we strolled around the infusion room, which was well lit with lots of plants & windows! Everyone was sweet & friendly! They took very good care of us, I got something for my nerves later that afternoon& took a nice nap with a warmed blanket, wonderful! It took about 6 hours & then Carl drove us home, I took my antinausea meds & fell into bed! No problems! The power of your prayers & positive thinking once again ! Thank you

JACKIE, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know you are a fighter and the will of the almighty in conjunction with your will on one accord can accomplish miracles. It was fascinating to read of the discernment of your dogs....Peace and Blessings!
