FWI:
I would like to say that I do not usually sell dogs to GB. That is the domain of JINOPO.
I sell the dogs on US continent and and all over the world but not in GB. But JINOPO are my partners and close friends to whom I helped to start JINOPO. Thus I do know what is going on there.
Prager Hans

Abby Normal makes the best point. If ever there was a time for a deserving exception, it would be this instance, and Hans, you would be the one to grant that exception.

An admitted mistake=refund of all monies spent in my personal opinion. Including all vet bills, phone calls and any other expense incurred.

Unfortunately REPLACEMENT warranties are the norm and common practice in the US GSD world.  Most pet buyers would never surrender their dog for a replacement, and few even if offered the option to keep their dog would want a second dog from the same breeder anyway because they would have it in their heads that somehow this breeder is producing defective dogs... thus the breeder rarely has to honor any warranty.  Some of us fortunately are giving a money back warranty instead of the replacement warranty.  Each have their own terms, some full money back, some half or replacement, some for only hips, some cover more issues, etc. but at least it's a step in the right direction that I hope to see more do and more buyers look for.

That being said, it would be NICE to see Hans offer some monetary reimbursement, BUT as the broker he's stuck in the middle, and questionably holds any real fault.  If he refunds the whole amount then the breeder didn't have to take any responsibility, and he's out whatever he paid for the pup.  Certainly it's the honorable thing to do and hopefully they are reaching some understanding.  I'm sure the breeding was done with the best of intentions, but unfortunately you never KNOW what Mother Nature my throw your way.  Hopefully the overbite was an honest mistake if the pup was sold as show quality, but that's obviously not the pressing matter.

So sorry about your pup.  I hope whatever surgery you elect for will keep your pup active and healthy for a very long time.  You both deserve to be happy with each other.

Exactly and the only acceptable recourse in the circumstances.

I am talking to her about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have said it here before.
Read my darn  warranty!!!!!!! .  And you all here are not helping me or her to get the money to her. All I can give her is my 1/2 . Jinopo would have to come with the other.
Do you get it!? I can not give something which is not mine.
Again show me your replacement warranty if you even have one.

As a puppy DEALER, paying the breeder for pup (as he has stated he does), then that throws a whole new perspective on this matter. He must have chosen the pup he wanted from the crate and gave Chrissy the affected one. Therefore a complete refund including shipping could happen without involving the breeder on Chrissy's behalf. The DEALER can take up the issue of screw up with the breeder and get his refund AFTER Chrissy gets her money back. Then every one can hopefully live happily ever after.
