Also, I live near Chattanooga, TN, and we drove a ways to get her (can't remember where), so it's possible that she's an offspring of that breeder's dog. I'm trying to convince my mom to buy a 3 gen pedigree, rather than just seeing the parents names.

It would be awesome if you could get an extended pedigree. It would give you a better idea of what you really have.....You can go to AKC.org, website and get a 4 gen pedigree for $10.00 or a 5 gen pedigree for $12.00. You will first have to create an account. Then You will need a credit card or debit card and once you order, it usually within 20-30 minutes you will get a pedigree that is printable.....

Well, I went ahead and bought her pedigree and uploaded it to here. Thanks nonacona60 for the advice. :) Both of her parents were sable, and three of her grandparents. So, I suppose she probably is sable. Coolio.

My (fav) color is the Sable.....although I really like the solid blacks too!
