He said himself he knows his dogs... but didn't know the bitch was in heat? Bs. How about hips and or titles? Then he sells the pups for half price (1500.00). Sorry but it just sounds like a high dollar puppy mill.

That is a a nice looking Pup. Looks like he has a lot of potential. I'll buy him.

I am hating myself for posting to this thread again, but faq2, where do you get your "facts"??? The puppy you're referring to, who is a lovely puppy, was not sold for $1500 ("half price" according to you). If you're going to bash someone for something unrelated, at least have a clue what you're talking about.

Thanks to both Hexe and Jenn--you guys took the words out of my mouth.

@jenni yeah ok. It was a different thread. Its only what Hans said, do you want the pm s? Hey have you been doing any training with your dogs?
by faq2 on 31 August 2011 - 04:08
@jenni it is related, start at the beginning.

Wow, as usual, a lot going on in the past 8-1/2 hours since I left to get a 12 year old Lab out of the pound.
I didn't want to post anymore because this thread is ridiculous and has been from the beginning, but, Grandpa1 decided, as per his m.o. to start calling people names, so, I'll answer him.
This is what I would do if you were to come to me for a pup from my male that was bred to a female owned by someone else. I would do the same thing as when I went to someone for a pup from her male and that is I would send you to the owner of the female. Before I sent you there, however, I would ask you a lot of questions about why you want a pup out of my male and see if you are the type of person that I want associated with my dog. If you are the type of person that wants a pup out of my male only so that you could breed him and make money off of my dog's name and my hard work I would tell you to go f... yourself.
Now that you have your answer I'll recommend that you do something next time you want a question answered. Make the question relevant to the topic. I am not a mega breeder/broker like Jiri, nor would I want to be. If I was a breeder that was concerned about kennel names in my breeding dogs' pedigrees because of the potential for monetary gain down the road, then I would do my homework and make sure the pups or dogs I was buying had those kennel names I desired and not leave it up to someone else to decide that for me. To me that is part of what being a grown-up adult that can stand on their own two feet is all about. If I failed to do that then I would live with the consequences and not come on the internet and cry foul play by the big, bad breeder.
If I were to become a breeder I would want it to be on my own merits and not the work of others. I'm sure that there would be some great names of dogs in the pedigrees, but, I wouldn't want people buying pups because of the kennel names in the pedigrees. I would want them to buy pups based on what I was able to provide for them, hopefully, in a great pup, and more importantly, an adult dog. To me, it is about the dog and not about the kennel name or the blood lines. The blood lines are important so that you have an idea of what you are getting, but, in the end, it is about the dog you have in front of you. My present competition dog I went to look at on the recommendation of someone I trust in assessing dogs, but, then I drove 700 miles each way to see her and what her capabilities are, which included 2 hours of a blinding snow storm on I-90 near Erie, Pa and on up to Buffalo (if you've been in one of these you know what I am talking about). I could have had her shipped, but, what if I didn't like what I saw when I got her. I was in my car for 24 of the 28 hours I was gone because it was important to see her for myself. Doing it this way eliminated all the potential problems that could have arisen. I bought her without a contract.

I'm just incredibly amazed this argument has gone on this far. EIGHT PAGES.

I skimmed over the first part of your reply but went trough the rest of it. That is okay as to the way you do business. However this applies to yourself and OGBS to whom i will answer below. On the Website you refer to, It says.
Puppies are coming either directly from our breeding program or from kennels in the group of jinopo CZ. that is explanation enough, However what i am trying to get across is this.
The Buyer should be TOLD prior to paying any money or Balance that the Puppy they are getting comes from an outside Kennel in the Group.
That is not hard to understand and that is being fair to the Buyer, He or she can then say NO, I want a Puppy bred by you off your premises or do not bother. That is what i am trying to get you Guys to understand I like things correct and that is for me the right way to do business.
Now did that Wade ask that we will probably never know. If he did then he was not treated correctly, However still the ear Photo is not forth coming that i find strange that he does not back that up regarding the ear, It will take but a minute to take a Photo of the Pups ear.
