I talked to the animal communicator and she told me that she is alive and that someone has her and she described the people and the surroundings. Some of it was really general, but if I hadn't tried the communicator I would have had that voice in the back of my head saying, well what if.....? or Maybe.....? I will beleive as much of what hilary said as God wants me to. I WILL get Halley back, i'm not gonna run around everytime someone suggests something to do, like a chicken with it's head cut off. For example, my crazy neighbor lady tried to tell me that a GSD can track another GSD without any training "it's in their blood". Ya, like i'm gonna go find someone with a GSD and say "hey can you bring your dog out and let it find my dog?" If there is any truth to that then fine, but I did't beleive it or her when she told me that. I'm not gonna go and do that, it doesn't make sense.

I have been following this thread since day 1 when your girl went missing, I cannot offer you any advice as you have done everything you can to try and get her back home with you. I am so sorry that this hasn't happened yet and I know you will never give up trying. all I can do is wish you you all the luck in the world that you find her, and I will keep hoping and praying she somehow finds her way back to you.

call the guy that has the dog and tell him you just want YOUR dog back, need to see the dog so that you know if it's your dog or not. Before continuing your search and spending more money searching for a dog that may already have been found - call him and describe the collar, show him the picture, meet him at a neutral place, show him the documents you have in person - prove to him that it is (or isn't) your dog. There is no reason for him to keep the dog from you if it's yours. If it is your dog, then unless you continue to communicate with the people who may have her, you will never find her.

I agree with Eichenluft. If there was even a chance someone had my dog, I would follow up. I know you stated you don't know where he lives, but he contacted you or you him...right? So you have his phone number? Go to the police and tell them this person may have your dog. If they wont check into it, hire an investigator and have them trace the phone number to the address (very easy to do) then go there, if your are not that bold. Stalk the house or have the investigator stalk the house, once it is confirmed, GO WALK IN AND GET YOUR DOG.....(YES, I would take matters into my OWN hands) but if you are not like that, and you have proof from your "investigator stake out" hire an attorney!
I would walk through fire and scale moutains to get my dog, id be damned if some person would keep me from him! "Where there is a will, there is a way" If this dog is alive and someone has her...Id find them! Do WHATEVER it takes. call the media, post pictures...walk the area's, post more pictures....let your voice be heard as loud as it can be! Don't stop!
I sincerely wish you the best, im broken hearted for you and have been following your thread. i know you love your dog, its time get tougher, I wish for you strength and resolve, and I pray you are reunited soon.

I do not understand why AC would tell you those things and then not go get her if they know where she is...especially if you have your microchip paperwork. That doesn't make sense. I'd be filing against that officer if they did that to me.

Animal communicator.... Not animal control officer. Just to clairify... Right?

Well, that explains it.

Some of you are really starting to frustrate me. We already went through the collar conversation.

by Mystere on 23 March 2010 - 23:03
Before you get too frustrated and piss people off because of it.... remember who your friends are!! EVERYONE here has done NOTHING but wish you well in recovering the dog, offered suggestions (some of which you took), and given you moral support. We all feel for you and with you, as each and every one of us knows how heartbroken we'd be in the same situation.
So, maybe a little editing is in order....

Just an idea, If you received a phone call then you have an area code . You could put an add in the clasifieds asking for help from that community. Maybe someone knows of a person receiving a gsd recently that they would contact you. Explain your situation and maybe you will get a lead. just an idea.
