Hi Jackie so glad you are home. Yep I imagine you'll be wiped out for a few days. But ya got Carl to take care of you...............Honey take care and don't try to do too much too quick. Let your body recover. I say that cause I know your independant streak--oh I feel good--think I'll overhaul this motor today. LOL. Love ya Jackie (and Carl too) and take care..............Minta

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, Jackie!!!!! So glad you are home!!!! Wow- a 7 hr surgery :( Hopefully, your recovery will go well. I know it will be hard to rest and be a good patient, but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do.. Be a good girl ;) No overhauling whatever till you are well enough! Hopefully that will be soon :)

Wow, I'm so impressed you are home already! That is a very good sign. The first few days are pretty rough, but you should start to feel better real soon! Hang in there! We are all pulling for you. You continue to be in my prayers. Xxxxx

Thank you everyone! Yesterday was pretty rough, today, so far, much better.
Please forgive me if I'm not too talkative, mostly all I want is sleep just now. My own bed feels so good! But thank you again, jackie harris.

Oh my, I never used to pay those American Cancer Society PSAs much thought, now I can't watch one without crying! I have been reading the blogs of the very few other women with USC ( or USPC), & they are so inspirational, & so sad. And they go into great detail about what I can expect....oh Lord I'm going to need strength!
Today, my tummy is so distended, I keep hoping this will go away, they use 3 liters of gas to inflate the abdomen....I feel like Carl aught to tie a string on my toe so I don't float away! Yikes!
Thank you everyone, for all your love & support! You have no idea how much it means to me, & for Carl. I read your responses to him, & he is greatly cheered by it, as I am. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! jackie harris
