Jenni...

I met Blaster. He is an awesome dog. I am good freinds with Karen and Ron. They dont live far from me. Last time I went to visit them I met Blaster and played ball with him. He also looks patterned Sable like his sire to me, but you cant tell from the picture.

Karen and Ron. Terrible people who no doubt abuse him.

Nah, Blaster never cared much for playing ball. I don't believe it.

I wouldn't really say he's patterned, though he's plush coated, and it's been, what, 3 years since I've seen him??? I would call him just a darker sable. I don't remember a clear pattern, but I could be wrong.

Here are a few pics of him while he was w/me.

Kelly, next time you see him, would you PLEASE give him a hug from me??? Had I not had more males than I could handle, I would've bought him myself. I'm so thankful that he ended up where he did!!!

Thank you Jamie!  Yours and everyone elses too!  I especially love the really dark sables!  The one Kelly J put up I love!  Ox!  Havn't had time to check him out but looks like a powerhouse!  And, can  do whatever job given.  That's what he looks like.  Haven't checked him out yet but I seriously have no doubts!

Jenni - I am not sure of the difference in pattern in it's HAIR or pattern in it's COLORING?  The hair coloring is what we are talking about that makes up the pattern of the coloration in the dog....  please explain the comment...

thanks

Yogie

It was a question, not a comment.

Different colored hairs can create a pattern, and so can different textures, ie, the "combtooth" or the ones w/the wavy fur down the back. The way you said your last statement made me second guess that we were even talking about the same thing.
