It's not just for the apperance only, I mean he has a strength and reasonable speed to catch somebody, I have to be very carefull with him, you know what I mean.
He is sitll very young, not ready for guard dog yet. (But soon). He will be 1 year old next week and he is right now about ~104 pounds. And about ~29 inch tall.

Shtal, how many cm is your dog? I don't know inch and pounds, sorry.
If your dog will guard your home - is OK, he bark and if you training - he bite (maybe).
If you go with big dog on street, nobody want do crime, because theu scare. Even if your dog want or cant bite, nobody know that.
This dogs need big training.
Please, look video, wich I have put earlier. Many dogs there want not work. That is tragesy. But there are many GSD , wich want not work too, and working line too

When I tell him to attack me and jump on me as practice lesson.
He also know when to stop when I tell him to stop.
Not only that, he learns everything and copy what my standard size 7 year old working male do for me as guard dog duty's.
Answer: 104 lb = 47.1736 kg
Answer 29 in = 73.7 cm
His paws is a bit wider then my four fingers on my hand.

O! Big dog!
But there are normal GSD with 68-70cm. Its not standart, but there are such dogs, and show-gsd too.
Your dog is young, he will be 75cm... Great dog!
For me - I like higher dogs as smaller )))
