I think his theories are solid. The ideas would definitely work, but putting them into practice would be almost impossible. Anytime you make something harder, you’ll just get someone that bands a group of people together and makes sure things stay easy. The more I look at it, the more I realize it can’t be a top-down fix. The fix has to come from the customers and end users of the dogs. They’re the ones that have to show breeders that they’re not doing something right. No matter how many rules you institute, people will work around them or just refuse to follow your organization and figure out something else that makes them look legitimate. Other countries, outside the SV, are the perfect example of that. No matter what you do, people will still continue to work around the rules as long as they’re getting something from it. When the income stops…they might rethink their decisions.
