I personally think the Panda shepherd is just a load of money scamming. Please do not talk about races.

"what the hell are you talking about RIK? you need to ease up on the beer"
Uber, point to you. Very good.
I see that Ork goes VA4 in Canada.
I think that such as this is much better for discussion on a GSD board. What do you see from his progeny as far as character. So far, I am very impressed with him. But I know that you see his progeny first hand.

The females I whelped out of Ork were monsters! very strong prey drive, bite monsters, I have scars on my hands and forearms from them and they tore several pairs of blue genes up. they had beautiful conformation, a ton of coat. they were quite vocal. closest thing I have had to them was a Leerburg sired litter.
I sold the pup that was mine at 6 months old, I felt because I wasn't able to get to a club, I wouldn't have done her justice. She went to a gentleman who visits this board occasionaly and works with homeland security. I don't know about shows but he does plan on working her. He is an experienced K9 handler. Shak has retained a female which I housed with mine until she was 5 months old (evil puppy, named Godiva and should be at the Dec. show) and the 3rd female went upstate somewhere to another show home.
Shak has updated pics of Godiva on his site, the pup I had Gwyn was a clone of her grandsire Hannibal and the other female was simply stunning with a very black face.

Uber, thank you for your reply. Ork is very high on my list of males to consider for my bitch.
Also, I hope to attend a couple of Texas events in the next few months. The first will be Central Texas show in Dec. Held in New Orleans. I think this is Shak's club.
I know that Texas is a big state, but I would like to meet you if you are ever able to attend a show that I am at. I would like to show you my dogs and see what you think first hand.
And really, I like that you did not run off crying but fired your own good shot.

Shak trains with a group in Dallas I believe. Ork is one of the few showlines at this club. I am not sure if it is the dfw working dogs club, as there are several out around Dallas or Seagoville area. I tend to stay around North Texas, if there's a regional trial or show, I will go, but 4-6 hours in a vehichle is my limit. after that I can hardly get around. I doubt I will be at the New Orleans show as that is a 12 hour drive one way.
I am waiting to see if Jennifer Aguilar hosts another regional show, if she does I'll be there, if for nothing else than to watch. I used to make a weekly run to her place for training.

Uber, very good. East Texas is about my limit for 1 day travel.
If I get into your area, I will let you know. Regional shows are always the best, because of the number of dogs available for viewing.

Note it is likely that the long coat will be introduced back into the Fold as breedable within the next 12 months, Providing it has a double coat, So why eliminate those Dogs or even mention them

I mentioned the long hairs cause for years people said the same thing about breeders who bred them as they do about the dilute color breeders. they frowned on the people breeding coats. but since the SV is reinstating them, they are ok now. the dilute colors used to be ok too, until, like the longhairs, they were deemed unacceptable and the were removed from breeding programs

It's about the Panda shepherds guy's,
Don't see the need to cull a pup because of colour, don't see the need to start another breed, but seriouse thinking needs to be given on restricting these dogs entering the main stream, if for some reason i produce a pup in a litter , now matter how good the bitch or the litter mates were i would see it as a responsible breeder to limit any posibility of this happening again, endorsments, and get them done

OPEN UP YOUR MIND A LITTLE!!
This is my first time on the message boards and I have to admit that I can hardly believe the attitude. I don't want to get into the argument, but do want to say that I am an "old-timer" that was raising quality AKC German Shepherds before most of you were even born. Don't jump on the validity of the Panda Shepherds too fast .... my AKC shepherds produced some of the first solid blacks and black & reds in Ohio. I couldn't even sell them because everyone "thought" (wrongly of course) that they must be mixed and had the same "attitude" that I am reading on these boards. If my dogs were to have produced a "sable" in the 1960's it would have been the same negative attitude that I see here.
