Groß, mittelkräftig, sehr typ- kraft- und gehaltvoll. Harmonische Ober- und Unterlinie, sehr gute Gesamtwinkel, gerade Front. Geradetretend, kraftvolle, weitausgreifende Gänge. Sicheres Wesen, Mut und Kapftrieb ausgeprägt; läßt ab. V. Sehr typvoller harmonisch aufgebauter Zuchtrüde.

If one remembers that the president of the SV judges the working class males at the Sieger Show every year and one also remembers that Arminius is the kennel name of Hermann Martin who was president of the SV in the 1980s and his brother was Walter Martin, owner of Wienerau kennels, & if one also looks at the bloodlines that have overwhelmingly dominated the SV show scene since the time Hermann Martin became SV president, it looks more like politics has yet to STOP playing its part.

Hello Cyrus,
That is quiet a generalised question. I dont think anybody can predict it. Afterall five generations of dogs are involved when line breeding 5-5 i.e. almost 60 dogs involved. Now which dog will contribute what characteristcs is difficult to predict. Afterall Phenotype is also important.

Visum is an awesome dog to look at. I was wondering if anybody so happens to have his Schutzhund scores? Im proud to have a bitch pup thats related to this gorgeous dog!

I think he is a beautiful dog. He is one of my favorites. My pup is linebred 3-3 on him. Does any one else have any experience with this linebreeding? Also any more info about him would be great! I have done quite a bit of research, but more information would be great!

The V120 was because he refused to bite during the courage test.He was SG1 the year before.

This discussion have been held here before. and then someone told, that the "system" was not the same as today. So there is a reasonable explanation on the V120 place, and straight into the VA. But there are probably people here, who can tell more about this then i can.
A very good male he was though.

Yeah, maybe Visum's Owner thought that Visum proformed so poorly that after the V120 placing, he went home and worked the dog to the bone!
I do not know whether you are suggesting that politics had anything to do with Visum's VA4, but ... I think that's a bit far fetched!
