I still can not get this pedigree entered I have tried everything, When it still says father "not known" if I click on the drop down bar after typing in only a partial name on the sire, It only gives me the option to select "not known"

Is this just a glitch I need to just wait out or what else can I do to get this pedigree entered, I started from the back and worked forward entering a full 4 generation pedigre as you know that's alot of work, and I'd like it to read appropriately. Please let me know what I need to do, Thank You so much for all you do and your personal attention to so many of us who are computer dummies. :-) Thanks Mitch

What is the name of the father you are trying to register? (could it be that he is accidentally registered as a dam?)

Ch Asgards Big Deal of Encore, and to answer your question... Possibly ?? I'll go look. But actually it's several of the dogs I had already entered, and when I try to update the pedigree when I type in the missing Sire or Dam and click continue with update it comes back with not known and the drop arrow, and in the drop arrow no other option than not known.

Don't know what happened there... Anyway checked the dog and it is reg. as a sire. And is recognized in the DB but when I try to update Carico's Wyatt Earp who is a son of above dog, it comes up not known.

try copy-paste the name.

It should work now, the system was throwing it out because of "of", its fixed now.

Nope still kicks it back to Not Known. I don't know what to do. Then clicked back button and tried with less of the name and still the drop down bar only gives the option of "Not known"

ps. He is registered as Asgard's not Asgards (Big difference in the internal computer world) Could that be a factor? (I see you printed here "Asgards" not "Asgard's"

Ya I have tried it both ways. I have tried it with a partial name, then to use the drop down to find no option given other than "Not Known" So I don't know, haha. I'm at a loss, But then again, like I said computer dummie here. LOL.

You problem is that there are CH in front of the dogs name there dont belong there.
