Help PleeeeeZ ... Frustrated at this point - Page 1

OK have been trying to input a new females pedigree, almost nothing was in this DB before last night... well I just went to view the ped and most of it is still missing I have tried to "update ped" and it says not known when I try to update. So I go back and try to register the dog "not known" dog be it male or female and it comes back with "Warning" this dog has already been registered. What the HECK ????? why is it saying "not known" then coming right back at me with "warning" this dog is already registered ?? then when I try to retype the name in the update ped box of sire or dam, it comes right back with "not known" OMG I'm ready to pull my hair out, I spent 6 freaking hours putting this pedigree in and still can't view the dang thing. Somebody please tell me what I need to do. Thank YOU

That is strange. You need to give me an example of the data you are working with. For instance, the "not known" -> "Warning" example. Could you post the names there?

i am having similar problems when trying to post Belgian Malinois pedigrees. I just gave up.

I just ran in to check my question and saw your post....(Im dealing with customers that dont know what they are doing and wont listen to me One pup got stolen, one pup bit an old man and is in puppy jail , and another got his paw hung in a chain on a door and hung there and bit his master all up and he is in puppy jail......another got hurt by a bigger dog and knocked her hip joint out in Brashear , Tex and she is only 6 mos old...another is afraid her pup ate something in her neighbors yard and is at the vet...People!!!!!!Hi Echo

Here's the information you will need to see what is happening, If you type in "keltys kizzy von shadow" Pull up her peidgree then you will see there is data missing try to update say her dam who is "ninja von angel und shadow" DL71242902 try to update it the peidgree as such, the dam comes up "not known" then try to go register a dog... useing the above information and it will come up "warning" this dog is already registered in this databse or something to that affect.

I had the same issue the other night putting in a new pup. Someone suggested not typing the whole name of the problem dog and it worked. To-Fast Enzo came up when I used Fast Enzo. I don't understand why, but it worked and got all info in on my pup finally. I was pulling my hair out too! LOL
