Sticky: Multiple breeds + better server - Page 1

Hi All, I've been spending my evenings (and weekend) for the past months ( many ) creating the ability to support multiple breeds. You can see new site (which is based on the design of this one) on pedigreedatabase.com I will in the future add support for cats and horses and any other breed someone wants pedigree services for. Please help me beta test the multiple breed functionality, I haven't been able to go through all normal testing myself. (I am too few ;) ) Better server: I decided to take a chance, I got myself a real server for this web. Its a real thing, designed for the big guys :) hopefully the web will be fast and very professional in responce times from now on. Its not implemented yet, but I will warn you before, The web will go down for 1-2 weeks while I do the switch.. Onto other things: The breeders listing is coming on shortly, working on it. Owner locks is still in progress, did a small beta test and found out its much much more politically complicated then it sounds. :-/ I will be watching this thread for comments to the new features. Well, I did the www.dyrin.com design which took me 2-3 months, I gave up on that. (the base programable system was'nt up to my standards,. so I gave up on it)

Many friends have asked for a site like this for Rottweilers! I think it would be very popular.

Oh my, I can feel the withdrawals coming on already Guess it's time to start planning a 2 week vacation so it won't be too rough on me. laffin Great Job Oli, I've learned much on this site and check it often and certainly appreciate those that have imput that is useful to contribute and have learned to bipass the content that isn't and wasn't intended to either (learning ID's to ignore).
