Contacting SV - Page 1

Hello: I bought a female GSD from a Serbian Breeder, paid to have hips/elbows xrayed and her pedigree stamped by SV with the readings. Saw photo of pedigree with the SV stamps, but still in the breeder name. Then photo of the pedigree with transfer to my name, but missing the SV stamps for hips/elbows. Mid March, breeder was to resubmit to SV to get the Stamps put onto the registration and remit to me. It is July 12th now. Four months have passed and have not gotten the papers, nor a photo of them via messenger. Breeder not responding to messages. Can I contact SV myself to verify if this bitch' paperwork truly has been submitted, or if it has been misplaced?

Normal thing when you get export pedigree thats new paperwork so you cant have stamps on it till you resend to germany for new ones which is aditional cost.

miha, that's pretty interesting.

I only have experience with AKC, CKC and SV. in all these, the pedigree (or registration papers} the dog is born with is the papers it dies with. (other countries do use the original to issue their own version, for example, CKC or AKC use original paper issued by SV to transfer and register.

are you saying that Serbia issues a different pedigree than the one the dog is born with for export?

that is something folks need to know.

edit to add that in AKC and CKC the registration papers are not a pedigree. have to pay extra for a pedigree.

RIK when pupps born here in serbia they getting only pedigree which is valid here in serbia for evry dog sold to other country you need export to make export you bring original pedigree and pay some tax to kennel club and they print new one in Export form and hold the Original one. So thats reson cause on export you dont have anything but before makin export in kennel club they add all info from original pedigree to sistem so you can but you dont need to pay again to SV to give you stamps on export pedigree. Thanks
