Amazing experience with Zymox Enzymatic solution - Page 1

My dog (GSD) recently developed an allergic infection in her ear and kept up that old head shaking and ear itching for a few weeks. Instead of taking her to the vet, I purchased otc a 4 oz bottle of Zymox Otic enzymatic solution. I used it as directed and within 24 hrs all the symptoms were completely gone. I continued to use the entire bottle anyways. Over a few days the external layer of the inside of her ears gradually peeled off to expose again that "puppy pink " inside ear. Was just sharing this in case anyone was having similar issues with their dog and was looking for something that was effective.

I've also experienced that Zymox Otic is very useful, more so than anything else I've used in my dog's ears.

I have used this stuff for years. Love it! I keep a bottle of it around. I even kept it in the first aid kit in the patrol vehicle. My stuff is in a little bitty bottle. An ounce of so. You just put a few drips in.

My male occasionally had issues with one of his ears, and antibiotic drops didn't seem to clear it up as it re-occurred. Zymotic treatment for 7 days did the trick, and that ear has been issue-free since.
