I believe the bear charged rangers who were investigating the incident.  They had to shoot or be attacted.    Once a bear kills a man he will do it again.  I agree with you this man and woman should not have been there in the first place.  Thats not a responcible way to study wildlife.  And the wolf guy...lol man I bet he stinks.  I dont believe the re-introduction of wolves, I guess you mean yellowstone has had a negative impact tho.  I dont think the wolf guy is going to get a wild pack to except him. And how does he plan to keep up with the pack in the first place. He'll be the next one eaten.

I just heard on the radio the other day...That they're building huts along the side of country roads in South Dakota for the children to sit in while they wait for the school bus.  They're doing this because the wolf population has exploded due to the release program.  I understand having them running wild is a great idea and all....but can you imagine if buffalo ran wild through the midwest!!!  We think hitting a deer tears up vehicles!

I can not tell you how many pickups we had to fix or replace due to just the cattle sleeping on the highways, that  we hit. Wolves and Coyotes were killed and the carcass was hung over the fence along the roadways. Bears were left alone unless spotted killing livestock same with the big cats.

I dont believe S. Dakota has a wolf problem.  Most kids have bus huts due more to the weather and the fact they are out there before sun up due to long rides.

Wolves and buffalo roaming the prairies of the great plains?   Who ever heard of such a hair brain scheme.

You know there's alot of prejudice and misinformation about people and predators.  I think if you dont actually live there you really dont know.
