Been working for a week to buy a dog from them- they had wrong info for flights to Florida regarding Air Canada restrictions- 1st for heat then for cold. Confirmed last night that they wanted to be paid by paypal- no problem. Dog had little obedience so I wanted my trainer to get him and keep him for 2 weeks then introduce to my pack. Play it safe!!
I called airline 6am next morning and was told no restrictions. The ship date was critical to me as was having trainer get dog and had to confirm their avail re flight. That morning left them a voice mail which they say they did not get. Never asked for a deposit.
I get them that afternoon and they say they sold dog last night. I feel their misinformation caused delays.
I firmly believe that they ethically should have told new buyer there was someone interested in dog and give me a fill or kill order- they never asked for deposit. It takes 5 minutes to do paypal.
It was their screwups that caused me delay to pull trigger.
In my mind IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE $$$ and no consideration to the doubts they had caused.
Just like used car salespeople.
Bad People!!

That is your assumption or perception that is what it was or is about. Its usually the other way around from what I have experienced. People fart around they dont let you know what is up. Its first come first serve for right match homes. Take a deep breath and go forward. Perhaps if you knew or talked more up front with these people you would have a better equal and fair observation. I dont think its fair to blast someones name like that in a negative light over your miscommunications. And as a breeder who recently placed a started male I really loved and new.. I would suggest you get your dog, bond with them and go to your trainer WITH the dog FIRST. Then later after you have your connection you might consider board and train? I was happy my boys new owner obliged and he too is very glad he did that rather then sending him to trainer. Besides the bond they are getting together doing and learning the work is priceless. Take a deep breath. We all have frustration and things in life that seem unfair but really are these really bad people I bet not or you wouldnt have wanted a dog from them.

Let me explain the situation here from the Wendelin breeder's prospective before you talk bad about us!!

First of all Air Canada cargo takes live animals to Orlando until October 31, after that there is a cold embargo in place as their aircrafts are not heated!! And now even you could ship live animals to Orlando FL they will not take any if temperatures are higher then 29.5 C. at destination! That is their rules not mine!

Second: I told you abut the dog for sale several days before I made a public ad on PDB! You had many days to think about if you like this dog or not, you ask me many questions, I answered all your questions! A few days later I made ad on PDB that the dog is for sale and I even put that in my FB message to you "don't get upset if dog sells...somebody else could call me any time.

You had 8 days and you never were committed to the sale and that you will send the money! I even ask you if I should send Pay Pal request!
So guess what, somebody serious called me the other night and wanted to buy the dog, purchase agreement was sent and signed, money was sent, so simple dog is sold!
I had no agreement with you, I had no money from you and I never sold you a dog before! So you may ask the breeder's out there what is the standard?

And in regards of cars....when I look at your Face book who is the car dealer here? Certainly not me, I breed dogs and don't sale cars:)

armauro, please cut the crap.
Christina is very responsible and honest person.
if your deal didn't went through, then my guess, your communication with her was dubious enough
to give her reason do not take you as serious buyer.

p.s. oops, we posted at same time and seems i was correct in my guessing.

In short, armauro, it's like this: You snooze, you lose.

"dont think its fair to blast someones name like that in a negative light over your miscommunications. And as a breeder who recently placed a started male I really loved and new.. I would suggest you get your dog, bond with them and go to your trainer WITH the dog FIRST"
WRONG-
Have 3 dogs here and dog must be introduced properly especially with my high powered male here- best a new dog gets used to it here at my trainers board and train for 2 weeks especially when dog has little obedience.

Air Canada has no restrictions on their non stop morning flight CK- it is a wide body jet temp controlled- 1st you said it was too hot before 11/01 so could not ship then you said it was too cold after Nov 1- could not ship---- which way is it?? Per you it seemed impossible to get me the dog.

When a asked how to pay you, you never asked for a deposit! It would have been easy to do. "I even ask you if I should send Pay Pal request!" You did not!!! I have it though! IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY JUST LIKE A USED CAR SALESPERSON IN SHEEP DISGUISE.
"armauro, please cut the crap.

Perhaps it was a case of 'too hot' where you live, and then 'too cold' where the seller lives. It gets cold in Quebec (where seller is) in November, just in case you were unaware.

Air Canada clarified the breeders misinformation when I called them as I indicated above- the daily non stop to MCO is a wide body temp controlled jet- I gave seller the number but she did not bother- in truth she probably did not want to bother with shipping the dog having to go to Toronto- who knows. As I said the dog at first could not ship before Nov 1 due to heat then it was it is too cold in Toronto after Nov 1. All BS!

Also how can you send $$$ to a breeder in advance when they can not give you credible info on shipping- good luck on getting that money back.

by joanro on 19 October 2018 - 10:10

Geezz. I'd say Wendlin dodged a grenade not selling to you. Anyone this much trouble when they did not get the dog, I can only imagine the hell if you did get the dog.

Good call not selling to this one, Christina!
