I purchased from Megan Streussnig pick of litter, male suitable for show/breeding on Sept. 17, 2014 via Paypal for $1,919.00 U.S. There was only one puppy in the litter that lived. I knew there were issues with this puppy because vet wouldn't allow him to fly on two different occasions. I phoned vet but he said he could not disclose why. JUNO VON TANNEN BLUFF AKC # DN41846101, born July 14, 2014 finally arrived here weighing 8.6 lbs. and scratching non-stop. I knew he was in trouble and had vet appointment booked for him within hours of his arrival. We did OFA prelims at 9 mos. and he had ununited anconeal process left elbow (OFA APPLICATION # 1719762) - report dated 6/18/2015. I contacted Megan many times to resolve this issue; she having my $ and I had a puppy that is not suitable for show/breeding and perhaps not even suitable as a pet puppy. I ended up giving him away to lovely country home with the information that he may require surgery or euthanasia down the road. Buyers beware k9neiko is still selling dogs in the Netherlands; von Tannen Bluff German Shepherds (Megan Streussnig) merged with Netherland based Adri Phoelick and Tempelhoeve Kennels (merge news copied from their Web site). I have OFA report, paypal receipt, vet reports etc. Megan telephoned me when she read this post that I posted into another topic a few days ago. Very loudly she said "Take that post down immediately or you will get nothing." I'm still patiently waiting....no puppy; no $; no resolution.

Very important you make this clear as you are pointing the finger at one kennel name in your title and I do not think that kennel was involved in the breeding or selling of your puppy.

Northern megan's kennel is k9neiko Please that as the kennel name for your complaints and show the connection to Tannen Bluff

Northern I am sorry I am wrong K9neiko is not a kennel name that is the user name for megan, Tempelhoeve is the kennel name.

The history of this puppy purchase goes as follows. I had one pup born to the litter that Linda had reserved a show/breeding puppy and she agreed to take the one pup. As I was moving at the time Linda's pup was born I had transferred the pup and his mom to a breeder in Missouri with the understanding that she would care for mom and pup and handle the health and welfare of the dogs & ship a healthy puppy at the appropriate age. When we found out that the pup had failed it's vet check we were shocked. Due to being so far away we still had to leave the situation in good faith in the hands of the guardian. Linda agreed to pay for and take delivery of the puppy, knowing that he had previously failed a health check to fly. I did not force her to do this.
This puppy was registered out of my former kennel in the US, Tannen Bluff and has nothing to do with Adri Phoelich or Tempelhoeve.
After Linda did prelims on the dog and notified me that he had an issue that would make him unsuitable for breeding, discussion started on a replacement. Just so you know, Linda does not have a written guarantee or contract from me. She used my old website guarantee. The dispute began over her demands. I offered her another pup as a replacement and explained that since the pups available were from VA parents and her pup had not been, there would be some difference in the value of the replacement. I also let her know that this was a final replacement as no where was it stated that I would replace a replacement or refund her money.
Linda is making claims that sound like I won't live up to my commitment, but that is not true. She keeps shutting down the lines of communication because she wants to rewrite my guarantee to suit her situation and quite frankly, that is not flying with me. She says she is patently waiting for a replacement or a refund but instead of calling me to discuss this, she chose to attack my reputation by way of the internet. I work really hard with my dogs and my clients. I know I can't 100% please everyone, but I try.
Linda's posts sound more like her wanting retribution rather than resolution. I called her after she wrote the 1st post and told her very civilly that if she took the post down, I would be good with working something out. She completely lost her temper, said she would never remove the post unless I paid her the money----as i told her before I would send a replacement and even had a replacement now---as i had always said------ This the last time i will write about this on here---she knows my contact number as she apparently has been on the website enough to know------so if she wants a REPLACEMENT she knows how to contact me.
