Who out there is using pre-made raw diets? What brand? Pro's/Con's?

Other resources on raw feeding that may be "lesser known" would be helpful too.

I use K-9 Kravings . Excellent food , have used it for the past 9 years and wouldn't go back to kibble if you paid me :)

We use Ross-Wells in Medford Wisconsin. They offer two premixed complete raw diets, one a chicken base and one a beef base, along with several other ingredients from tripe to chicken necks . They offer most in 5 lb. tubes to 50 lb boxes. It is delivered frozen on a pallet, the minimum order I think is 500lbs. We bring in 2000 lb pallets and share with a couple other kennels in our area. They will also custom mix to order. If you only need a small amount at a time they can pass your info to their closest delivery customer. This is the company that was mixing the Eureka raw diet.
Pro's Price is good and dogs do very well.
Con's You need a big freezer or three or four.

I have a friend that used "Barf" brand and very happy, I used to use K9 Kravings and was happy; current dogs can't take raw. : (

PS: Travels with one of the freeze dried, I think RAW Instincts?? Not sure and is also happy with that, I never thought Bravo or any of those older ones were that good. JMHO. Nan

I have heard some great things about K9 Kravings, but unfortunately don't think I can get it in Nebraska :(

I got hooked on K-9 Kravings while in Virginia, but I moved to Florida where it is scarce. I bought a freezer and I bulk purchase about 6 months worth at a time and have it shipped. They are great to deal with, if you call them they can determine what the options would be to get to Nebraska.....just a thought.

I have used Ross Wells and really like it -- dogs (& cat) did well, good price, no fruit/vegetable fillers. Con is that it is not easy to get and like Powerflex stated you need a lot of freezer room.

Right now I use The Honest Kitchen. Pro is that it is easy to store. Con is that it is not fresh and does not contain as much meat as I would like. I will add my own raw meat, eggs, sardines, etc. to up the "fresh/meat" factor.

CSS - It is definitely worth a shot, if they are known to work with people. There is also a holistic pet food store in town that we visit often, that carries other premade raw things, so I wonder if they could order it for me?

Ross Wells looks nice too, but seems location will be a factor there as well. :(
