DO NOT bother putting your money into it.
Colorado State University said there are too many variables that can affect the results (Salts, antibiotics, time of feeding, infection, bacteria). Many Repro specialists refuse to trust the results and find them antiquated and out dated.
Not to mention that the manufacturer and sales people will not follow through with customer support. A dog cycles every 6 months. If you buy an unit in July, ask for a refund in Dec they say you have had it too long. They release a new one every year so that they can say you have an outdated version so they won't take back the older version.

Yes there are people that have had good results because they have the stud dog on hand, the average dog cycles at 10 days. But that is just luck not science.

I knew of a fur farm that used it with good success. Let's be honest- nothing scientific designed to take the place of nature is going to work as well as nature 100% of the time. Progesterone isn't the be-all, end-all either and plenty of livestock breeders as well as dog breeders will tell you that a good reliable male and experience on the part of the person deciding when to expose the female has the best odds of a successful mating.

No, a live stock breeder would go broke relying on nature in today's hectic and demanding market.

There is a complex chain of managed events with millions in infrastructure at each juncture that starts before birth and ends possibly 1000's miles away and all within a day or two max error and to the highest quality control standards of an endless 2 year production loop of thousands of livestock.

Nature plays no part in it.

Only pet dog breeders are opinionated and clueless enough to make statements like in the previous post.

The Draminski seems to be pretty well accepted and used among dog breeders here in the UK,
I never heard much criticism of it.

If you're going to be an a-hole, at least be an accurate, intelligent a-hole. READ what I said. READ it and try to understand the concept. I can type the same exact thing more slowly if you can't understand it still, after reading it again.

Nowhere did I say they ONLY rely on nature, I said livestock and fur farmers I know have used the Draminski and use progesterone testing (regularly), HOWEVER nothing is 100%. It was a pretty bland statement, really, and quite hard to argue with unless you're a Removed insult in the absolute truest sense of the word. But I think we already know what you are.

Removed personal insults. mrdarcy (mod)

I don't know what I missed but I have no problem with the edits made to my post. I did insult Pete, though not in a profane way. Merry Christmas to Mr. Darcy and all the mods who put up with this nonsense for zero compensation. Merry Christmas to ALL!
