Hope you are feeling better today! So, how did you get that nasty gash in the first place? And how did you manage driving to the hospital by yourself? Stubborn man syndrome, I bet!  If you aren't too loopy from the pain pills, please tell your story!

 

 

Thank you, Bee. I'm on pain pills, my leg is in a temporary wrap thing to keep my leg straight and I'm not supposed to be walking on it.

I was remodeling my bedroom closets. I was cutting the shelf material with a 12" slide saw that someone removed the guard from the blade area. I had the saw set up on the driveway and was making my second cut. It happened so fast I don't really know how it happened. I just know I looked at the cut before blood started gushing out, and I could see it was really deep and bad. Just missed going down to the bone. My daughter was watching through the window. I've never seen that much blood. I hobbled into the house and got a belt to put around my thigh. Called my ex wife to have her parents pick up the kids, put the saws away and jumped in my vehicle. Stupidest thing I could do. I thought I was either going to bleed to death , faint or pass out . I wasn't breathing properly and had to concentrate on my breathing.

As far as I know, I got lucky and didn't hit anything major. I'm supposed to do a follow up with an orthopedic surgeon, so who knows. Just a pain in the ass being off your feet all day. I'd love to take a shower!!!

Anyhow, thanks again. I'm kind of overwhelmed by those offering to give me a hand with rides, etc. Although my parents and extended family couldn't give a shot. Lol

That's a nasty cut. If a hot nurse bathes you try not to get hard on. The bitches will flick your dick with a metal spoon. Happened to me and stings like hell.

Lol. Wish I had a particular hot nurse here right now. 😉 just washed my hair, face, and body in my sink. Could have used a sponge bath.
