As an Admin I have seen many dogs with something like this in their name.
'A' 'Z' BSCL.1
I don't think it is part of their name, and I want to remove it and put it where it belongs, but I have no idea what it is.
Can anyone help me? Is it from Australia?

Breed Survey Class 1.

If a UK pedigree it will be just what it says on the tin: the Breed Council's Survey, passed at Class 1 [rather than Cl 1*, Cl 1-, (re size/coat length) or Cl 2, the only other available 'pass' grade and not very valued. Reflected, when set up, the old German Kk 1 & 2 results. Below Cl 2 is only "fail".

It can also be put in as a translated way of recording a German KorKlasse report; or may refer to some other country's survey method, eg, as you said, Australia or New Zealand ( if I am wrong about that I am sure Les or some other antipodean will correct that !)
