An image Everything about her is beautiful. She is a rescue and was said to have come from purebred German shepherds but her coloring is not like I've seen before. Her personality is definitely a German shepherd. I'm just looking to see if anyone knows more about her coloring or type of shepherd.

Reverse mask, blanket back, saddle patterned, Black and Tan. Lovely, and most likely American bred.

Unusual markings, yes, but I like them..

Type is more based on pedigree than color.. could be a mish mash of different bloodlines, no way to know.. doesn't matter.. if she is healthy and has a good temperament, you are ahead of the game.

She actually looks quite a bit like an old friend's DDR dog from a while back (before the wall fell). She's a striking reverse masked dog.

The population of Kelpies here in the US is quite low, vk, making that rather unlikely--though I can see why you'd suspect that if the dog were from down there.

She really is quite a beautiful dog, regardless of her lineage, on that everyone seems to be in agreement. I wish the OP many happy, loving years with her.

Coat isn't Kelpie, besides what hexe said. I think I have seen....uh...one. Yeah, one Kelpie.
