As to whether the breeding affects scorebooks and registering
for Trials and PSA 'n' stuff, that's where I take a step back.
Don't compete; don't live in the US. So no idea if it makes any
difference. Over to the guys & girls who are into all that !

Just as I suspected, your new little girl's background
looks a lot more consistent with being bred for Work.
Some German working (rather than bred to compete
at breed shows and do the basic IPO involved) kennels
in there, from generation 3 and back.

No such thing as too many questions

Standard BYB pedigree, more focused on working lines as the stock 3 generations ago was titled and is from working lines, but no proof of working ability in the last two generations. I wouldn’t worry about the pedigree and just focus on the dog in front of you. As long as you have an AKC pedigree you can register your dog as a German Shepherd with most of the bite sport organizations. If you don’t have an AKC pedigree you’ll just register as a mixed breed and still be able to compete.
