Please join in the posting!
I noticed, that when I make a post, I see about 500 clicks within two hours, usually. So that must mean there are lots of shy people reading along, and not joining in with their own great dog stories, or accomplishments.
Let's start some introductions, and maybe get some more people posting about their wonderful dogs! Simply start and say, "Hi!" Tell what kind of dog(s) you own, or wish to own, or used to own, even.
I am sure there are plenty of pet people (like me) lurking, and amazed to be learning all new stuff, just hanging in the background, but don't be shy, you should join in, too. Don't worry that some folks might seem a bit rough around the edges, because once you get to know them, you'll know their bark is worse than their bite! Even mine, lol! How about it? If you've never made a post before, here's your thread to just say, "Hi!"
For example:
My dogs are, Mojo: GSD, and Beau: the rescue, half GSD, half rhino?) lol... that's the running joke about Beau! No one knows what his other half is! Just something big and grey. But you've all seen their pictures, already! Let's see some of yours... any breed is great, big or small, let's get to know and see your dogs!
In the end it is all about sharing our love of our dogs on the PDB.

Hi All,
I'm Bev and I've had a German Shepherd or two in my life since 1975. My current dog (6th) is Jacy who is 4 years old. My dogs have all been from American lines and AKC registered but have never been in shows. I don't consider myself an expert in anything other than being a responsible owner. My dogs are family but have always gone to obedience training and all have been well behaved. Jacy is currently going to nose work classes and just passed her first ORT for Birch. Scent work has been great for building her confidence and we have a lot of fun doing it. I recently joined here and enjoy reading all of the posts and even comment occasionally. This thread was a great idea beetree.

Hello , Theresa Phillips from Virginia. Very much a newbie to all this , but I have two 1 year old GSDs & one 5 month old GSD puppy. I must say I am a resident Lurker lol , because I am still learning I tend to not reply to postings. I have gained an immense amount of knowledge from this site. I have friends who show & train dogs. Some of which have done PSA & Schutzhund . I am learning from them as well. Protection training is where my interests are. I also have been showing my male GSD , which I was told most judges do not prefer work dogs. Kahn has done well at the local shows , but my ultimate goal is for him to get working titles. Again I am newbie to all of this . It's a whole new world to me but I love my Shepherds & looking forward to seeing what they will accomplish in the future.

@Western... LOL I am trying! I need a few more Lurkers, though, to step up and share, today. If we can convince ten people out of 500, that would be a worthy accomplishment.
@LadyBoss/Theresa and Srfwheat... (what do I call you? My head wants to say, "Surf -Wheat", but that probably isn't right at all! Thank YOU both, those are great pictures and it is nice to get to know something about you and your dogs! I hope we continue to get to share more in both your stories with training and showing! And LB... Keep showing your Sable! Nevermind the Judge bias, your experience doing it makes you both winners!
@Bev,
Here is another tip on the placement of pictures. Hit the return bar a few times before loading the picture and it will stay where you really want it to stay. Matter of fact, the same tip works for creating paragraph breaks. As we wait for Oli to make his permanent changes, I hope these work-around tips will keep things tidy looking!
Come on Lurkers, make your first post, here! We want to meet you and your dogs! Any breed, too!
