You probably shouldn't breed your female IMO.

If no one knows what you are trying to achieve from the breeding there is no way to answer this question.

You seem to have two males picked out so only you know what they are like and what they might bring to the breeding.

No one know anything about your female other than her name.  A lot goes into the planning, health tests and training, unless all you want is puppy money then it makes no difference who you breed your female to.

I agree with Western Writer...

I wanted to add that your female was born November 2014.. So she isn't even 2 years old yet.
Have you x-rayed her hips and elbows? DM tests? Etc. have you worked her.. Is she titled?

Why do you want to breed her and what does she bring to the breeding? Tell us more about her temperament and drives.

Tell us more about the males you are considering breeding Vesta to.. It would help if you listed at least their names or a link to their pedigrees. Also please tell us more about the males you are considering.

Without ALOT more information no one on here can give you any advice on what pairing would be the best.. Or if your female is should be bred in the first place.
Not every dog (male or female) should be bred.. That does not mean they are not great dogs for pets or working dogs. A breeding should be well planned out before the dogs are put together.

Why did you delete the post??
No one on here is trying to be rude to you... We seriously are trying to help.. We just need more information about your dog and why you like the males you are interested in breeding to. The people that have commented on here are VERY pationate and love this breed.

I do want to say I like your females pedigree and have met personally a few of of the dogs in her pedigree.. I have met her sire and really liked him.. PLEASE do not take any of this as anyone "picking" on you. We truly do want to give good sound advice to you.

VK,

the poster said they owned this female...

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=2325944-vesta-vom-donauries

and wanted to know if they should breed her to a DDR/Czech male or a long coat black and red male..

they did not give a name or pedigree of the males.

by vk4gsd on 19 March 2016 - 06:03

I think he should breed to a long coated black Czech red male from DDR lines.

The point a couple of us were trying to make was that first the female is only a little over a year old and has had no health testing that we know of..
There was no information on the males except one is a DDR/Czech male and the other is a LC black/ red male. No pedigrees listed or if the males are health texted or titled.
There was ALOT of important information missing.. That was all we were saying.

Sorry I just felt like I didn't belong here I mean I'm 19 I'm trying to start school for law enforcement and I really want to work with the K-9 unit I always wondered what I wanted to do with my future I have a love for animals and I've always wanted to work with law enforcement and then I figured why don't I try to go for the K-9 unit it's both I love the German shepherd breed but I'm just not that knowledgable yet and I'd love to learn and get as much advice as possible at first I was going for the pretty dog the black and red but I realized K-9 unit is working dogs so I should stick to that so I fell in love with the black sable but in my area there's not that many ddr Czech breeders that stud there males But I have found a black and red male working line with a high drive he just doesn't have his pedigree set up so I'm kinda unsure about his background ? So I'm looking for a working line but either black sable or black and red but I just don't see many people doing that breeding a sable with a black and red at all why is that ? I feel like a ddr or Czech will compliment my dog very well but to bad there aren't much of those breeders in Southern California mostly showline. I also would love to hear how most of you breeders got started and how I should start? Also I want to get my female titled as her sire was I'm trying to train her myself off videos but I've never trained a dog before so it would take awhile for me and her and If I take her to a trainer which I want to but I figure then I won't learn how to train ?
