kdruffel91

by kdruffel91 on 24 December 2015 - 19:12

She was shown in November at the Regional Conformation show here. As well as at the USCA Sieger Show in May. I have the critiques from both judges - curious what other GSD enthusiasts think? She's all WL, and shes a long coat.

Picture above is 14 months old, recent show in November - she placed SG1.

Stack from Sieger Show in May (around 6 months old) - She placed VP2.

Heres a head shot.

Lovely girl and looks like she is having much fun at the shows. That is great. I like her conformation very much and feel she will go far as long as you can find judges that adore the long coats. Groomed properly I think they are stunning. Best of luck with her. Are you showing her in any other venues? Enjoy Nan

LOVE her! What is her pedigree?
I by no means am a conformation guru, but I see a healthy and athletic dog, with the body to do the work.

Thanks guys. Pedigree

She is very healthy and VERY athletic. 52lbs. Love her size. Super fast and agile. Nans, she's got an IPO geared obedience foundation on her, so I plan to title her in obedience things. She rocked the herding instinct test, as well as her temperament test. I plan on getting her into agility because she'd be phenomenal at it. BH, AD, and maybe one day when I get my life together put some IPO titles on her. She's definitely capable of it. Phenomenal nose on her, super hunt drive. Nice structure and temperament.

I got lucky and she's a 'short' long coat, haha! But, the breeders do wish I continue to show her, and based off of her critiques, I think it's a good idea anyway - although, its odd having my little sable bitch in a sea of black and red dogs! (I have a SL male as well, no bias here) :)

I have explored a bunch of venues with my male, so I plan to continue to do the same with her.

Beautiful girl, well put together--very nice shoulder layback, especially for a working-line, and nicely balanced front-to-rear, very attractive head, keen expression and markedly feminine and strong in equal measure. Would love to see her feet--a particular quirk of mine, but I love a tight, springy and short-toed foot in combination of such a lovely athletic physique, and hope she's got them.

She's best of both worlds: a pretty bitch with an appropriate physique for the wide variety of work the breed is meant to perform. Congratulations on sharing your life with such a fine young female, and congrats to the breeders as well for producing such.

Thank you for the critique and compliments hexe! Much appreciated. You described her head perfectly - feminine yet strong.  Shes got a nice head for a female, or so i've been told.  Which is exactly what I wanted.

Heres a picture of her feet, shes got long hair toes, LOL. I hope this shows off her feet in the right way.  Hard to find a good "paw" picture.

Thanks for indulging the foot-fetish, kdruffel91...she's got what I like to see. If she works as well as she looks, you've got it all in her!

Very well put together, dry, athletic. Congrats to you and to her breeder!
I like the 50 lbs range in GSDs, a great size for endurance and agile athleticism.

Your girl reminded me of Carma vom Ozhaus: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=2172227-carma-vom-oz-haus
(this is not a good photo of Carma, though)

1st picture
Medium sized, long coated dry sable colored GSD bitch of very good proportions, very good strong head and very good expression, medium dark eye (which is closer to the light edge), correct ears set, correct head planes and proportions, good stop, nice long neck. Very good topline, normal withers, strong back, good short loin, good croup length but can still use a bit more of it, very good croup angle and tailset. Hock should be perpendicular to ground, good rear angulation but could be a bit deeper, good well let down hocks, good feet. Good front angulation, front upper arm slightly short and slightly steep, good shoulder blade lay back, and very good strong pasterns. A beautiful well balanced bitch of good type and very good allover expression. I like her a lot, good luck with her.
