If your are familiar with this organization ( not limited to Boxers), please provide some inside.

Things I am looking for:
Are they creditable?
Any warnings or good things to look for?

I have been to a few. Creditable? Depends on who you ask. Its a fun and laid back group. The judges give written critiques, which is nice. Its great experience for ring training. That said, most hard core SV or AKC people will not look twice at a CH from them meaning anything.

Edited to add: Just saw this was in the Bulldog forum. The AKC comment would still hold true, but of course SV wouldn't matter. I have a few American Bulldog owners in my group and I don't believe they even attend these shows.

I have shown two dogs under the IABCA, it's just a different style of dog show. Personally i don't think much of AKC. Nor do i own an AKC breed, for a reason. So an AKC championship doesn't impress me much.
I have also shown my bulldogs under ABA, UKC and NKC.
On a side note most of the judges at the IABCA shows are active AKC judges. I know a few of them.
If you are looking to gain ring experience, or wish to try a different venue, give them a shot. It's fun, laid back and at least you get a glimpse into the judges thoughts on your dog, sort of lift the veil of mystery a tad.
Have fun

Lol. I missed it was posted in the Bulldog forum. This should have either been in the Boxer or German Shepherd forum.

Mods can you move this for me?

I have shown IABCA once before, I had mixed feelings. I did like getting the reviews back from some of the judges, but some were clueless. I had one judge tell me that my coated GSD was out of standard because GSDs aren't allowed to have long coats.(Which is not true.) Kept saying he doesn't look like a GSD, but rather a Shiloh. And she still gave me the highest rating? It was simply way too easy to title. Felt more like a money pit since you have to pay for the titles as well. You can easily get a IntCH in one weekend.

It was fun and laidback, some judges did give me great input though and I really valued their rating as they were honest and knowledgeable so it just varies. It's a good place to gain experience and confidence in the ring, as well as expose your dog.
