I'd say this org is about dead.
Its just not an official anouncement yet as Dan Yee is trying to lay out an exit strategy for his members.

Cutaway, what do you mean by an exit strategy?

Notice of Cancellation of NASS
Dear WDA Members,
The WDA is cancelling its October 2015 North American Sieger Show ("NASS") and will refund the entry fees paid by those who have entered their German Shepherd Dogs into the event.
This is the first time in WDA history since 1982, that the WDA has had to cancel its Sieger show. This was a very difficult and disappointing decision, but a necessary one.
Show ratings earned at WDA Sieger Shows carry special recognition and prestige because the international German Shepherd Dog Community recognizes that these show ratings (1) are measured against a broad population of entries that are representative of the high quality of dogs bred in the United States as well as overseas, (2) are awarded by highly recognized and respected SV Conformation Judges who are experienced in judging the annual German Sieger Shows and (3) are comparable to any of the show ratings awarded at other international Sieger Shows.
The entry deadline for the 2015 NASS is this Wednesday, September 16, and based upon the number of entries received to date, this year's event will not have the pool of competitors commensurate of a Sieger Show. Show ratings awarded at a low participated Sieger Show may adversely affect the value of show ratings earned by participants from previous WDA events, among other things. This is an unfair consequence to all of you who have loyally supported the WDA NASS over the past 33 years.
The foregoing reason, coupled with the economic reality of hosting costs as well as the costs for competitors (1) to book travel, (2) to reserve lodging, and (3) to retain handlers, among other reasons, were the basis for this decision to cancel the 2015 NASS.
Please note that this decision does not affect the events that are planned and hosted by WDA clubs and, in this regard, please continue to support those WDA organizations that have stood by and supported the WDA.
The WDA also will continue to provide SV services such as health certifications for hips and elbows, as well as the recording of SV‑recognized performance titles, show ratings, dentition certifications and breed surveys obtained at WDA events.
The WDA expresses its sincerest appreciation and wishes to thank each of you who have supported and continue to support the WDA. It is your support that has kept the WDA on its course to represent and to support the SV breed standard for the German Shepherd Dog.
Please feel free to contact the WDA Office if you have any further questions.

Cutaway, what do you mean by an exit strategy?
From my understanding, Dan Yee has been in communications with both the GSDCA and the UScA asking that the WDA membership be accepted "as is", in whole with out the need for an application. This includes all Judges, clubs and individual/family membership.
I have also heard other rumblings around this but do not want to repeat what i have heard because my understanding of that information is not clear. In order to avoid adding to "garbage information" i would rather not pass on the info that has been shared with me. Lastly, I have to believe that there are members of PDB who are far more "in the know" than i am and who can share what they know.
