I see some working line shepherds with light eyes, crooked tails, long tails, hooked tails, white pads, a few white hairs on paws, a small spot of white on chest how bad are these looked upon in a showring either USA or Germany ?

No judge will downgrade ( sg instead of v ) a dog only because of minor faults like some white hairs, that said they´ll stay within their rating, but behind others without these faults. As soon as they are not "minor", or several show up at the same dog, this will become a problem.
Every judge at first takes a look at the "overall conformation" combined with movement, and at this point they make their rating.

Of the things I listed though is there one that stands out as a major fault in a showring or are they all considered minor items ?

I´d need to see it. Some judges are picky about very light eyes, and I don´t know what you mean with "croked" tails. Any pictures?
A small white spot is "minor", a white plate is different.

I was at a trial this year where the female that placed first had a tail that was shaped like a fishhook. It wasn't just the last couple of inches of the tail, either but at least an 8 inch long section that was totally hooked back on itself.

I was appalled at his decision! Tail faults are highly hereditary, and NO WAY would I breed to a dog like that!

Tails
A little hook is okay though not preferred. Tails carried higher than body and passing the horizontal line and curled (making like a circle from bottom of tail towards the head of dog) is a serious fault

Susie what i mean by croked tail is like a spiral shape to it, i dont know the proper term but i call them a corkscrew tail not exactly like a husky tail but leaning toward that direction, for my own pups its not uncommon for me to get a small spot of white on chest i never had a 5 inch plate but prob had some at least 1 inch in size i,ve had buyers in the past that demand no white at all on the chest to me no big deal a speck of white, it common to see on solid black dogs on chest.

This one, though not preferred but not faulty
