What crime did they guy commit to warrant his arrest?  It could not have been serious at all considering the pace at which the officers walked up to him.

Cops got a lot more violent and a lot less heroic after the video camera and the cell phone with a good camera came along.  What the police claim or say happened and what they say they did does not match the truth on the video camera or the phone camera in many cases.  Body cams seem to be one fix for the problem.  Both the police and the public are less violent and more polite when what they are doing is being filmed.  If police come on my property and enter my home or yard without a warrant and they see my dog or dogs then the police officer should leave if the dog appears protective of my home or yard.  If the dog is on my property or is behind a closed fence the officer has no justification for killing my dog.  If a warrant is issued the officers have no cause to break down doors or jump fences to gain entry.  I will put away my dogs and allow entry with a valid warrant.  If they have a no knock warrant they do not have to allow me to respond or give me a verbal order to open the door, but many times the police break the law on these entries using force and then justify there actions with a good lie after the fact.  If you have watched the "Cops" crap TV shows you see them announce open up and then immediately break down the door.  It seems that many times the laws mean little to the lawmen.  The police break the law all the time and laugh about it because they feel immunity .. who is going to arrest them??
