LOL @ GSDstudent.

I'm just baffled. I don't know what the heck Mithuna is up to- he just got done saying how she wasn't his taste yesterday or the day before. I don't know if he's just messing around trying to confuse us (pretty sure it's working) or what....can't wait to find out.

he does not confuse me. I meet him everyday in the pet world. I think he meant it as a compliment to your dog, knowing she was not for sale. Now onto world hunger

Student, normally I'd agree. It's just that (maybe you didn't see) we had some extensive discussion on his cute female's condition and I compared her to Veronika and he said Veronika was not his taste. So, in light of that, I'm not taking it in the normal "Can I buy your dog" spirit. Awaiting his explanation. Teeth Smile

I can wait for his next post. his only connection to the breed is his own dog. That is not his fault, just his condition.

Yep;  like her a lot...

Mithuna

Jenni

I did not say I did not like her. She is pretty but I prefer to see more physical substance. Coincidentally, I happen to like the Stadtfeld dogs in general, and I especially like Uno ( whom Veronika is a grand daughter of ). Then someone who is active on this forum pm(ed) me and said that posting and talking about your dog is a strategy you use to sell dogs here ( and quite a few folks are aware of it ). So I was thinking maybe you would sell, and I like Uno's progeny, so why not " throw a shot in the dark " and see what comes of it. So there it goes.

If Jen starts selling the dogs she posts on the forums I have dibs on Capri. Just sayin'.

LOL LOL LOL!! Mithuna, you're a card.  I can only guess as to what off-balance character would say such a thing.

Mithuna, again, you have a lot to learn. Re: Stadtfeld dogs....I'm not sure at all that you'd even like their temperaments based on what you write about your girl and seem to have a preference to. I would be very very cautious getting into a dog like Veronika if I were you. I truly doubt they are what you want and I cannot see a dog like her thriving in your environment...or your wife staying on. Tongue Smile

Regardless of your personal taste, she is CORRECT for the standard of a German Shepherd, if a little large. I realize you don't have much experience, but for the rest, her bone and substance is apparent even at this gawky age. A fat dog with skinny legs is not any more subtantial than a very lean pup with tree trunk legs.  I believe it is her very lean physique that is confusing you. Ah well. Live and learn and I wish you well (sincerely).

Dawulf, make ya a package deal Wink Smile? Apparently, I'm way behind!!!

This forum is an interesting place, to be sure. Teeth Smile

Brussell went swimming for the first time today. He is just 4 months now and had his last parvo shot a few weeks ago so he had his first "big boy" trip out to see the sights today, outside of the car. Went to the park, nature preserve/pond, Starbuck's, another playground....he was tuckered. Did super with all that "new" all at once. Never even been on a leash before today and did stellar. I'll put the vid and a few pics on FB just as soon as I figure out a price, lmao. I fear he will listen to "Brussell" his whole life, however. Officially, he is "Herrick" (drop or make H silent for his call name) but James still insists on calling him Brussell. Thinking
