Jenni78

by Jenni78 on 23 April 2015 - 02:04

I haven't updated since I got her, I don't think. Just figured I'd post some pics through the months. She is 7 months old as of Monday. Reminiscent of Capri in terms of extreme drive and excellent structure, but a bit softer, very easy to train, agreeable. She's actually a good house dog, though pretty much still an alligator. She has the sense not to bite my son and is even good with Noah, his under 3lb Chihuahua. Plays fine, albeit a bit rough, with the 4 month old pups I kept. Hey, what doesn't kill 'em makes 'em stronger Tongue Smile. Seriously, she's very good with them, considering the age difference and her superior agility. She's lightening fast and agile as a cat. She's not perfect but I'm glad I went with my gut and am happy to have her.

Sitting, lol, love the wolf legs. She's about 5mos here.

6.5 mos, above

6mos head shot

4.5-5mos- she's awfully hard to get to stand still. She has "sit" down pat but stand/stay is sooo much easier to get distracted in!

4 months- awkward phase!

I think she is going to look quite a bit like her mother! Mom, below, V Helen vom Stadtfeld. Breeder agrees, but Veronika will be darker but with the wolf-gray undertones, which are really growing on me. A little different!

Thank you! I think gorgeous is a stretch, but she's got potential Wink Smile

4th pic down, I assume James is holding her.... that or she is really huge. LOL. Horribly deceptive picture. :P

She is a pretty little thing though! Definitely has her dam's expression. It will be interesting to see how she matures.

Jenni, she looks great. Very nice pup.

Yeah, James is holding her. She is not small, though...biting my nails that she won't be an 80lb female. She is almost Aria's height already. She's in a major growth spurt. James is very tall for his age. He is only 5 but regularly guessed at 7+, so the pic is only somewhat deceptive ;)  Brisco is the standard reported "65cm, 44kg" which always seems to be the case when they're rather large. Wink Smile  With her structure and agility, I really could not care less if she ends up Capri's size or even a hair taller. There are far worse things to happen to a dog.

Can I buy Veronika?

Mithuna....Thinking ????

I admit, you've got me baffled. And at a loss for words...for once. LOL

by gsdstudent on 23 April 2015 - 13:04

mithuna; for the sake of discussion let's think about your question above. can I buy her? Possible answers;1] '' No way, I love her and will do many great things with her in the next 15 years. She will be health tested and titled. There will be a few litters in her future to promising stud dogs'' 2]'' she is for sale, $7000 US Dollars, that is what you will pay a broker here in the USA''; 3]'' she is for you if you can donate enough money to cure world hunger''. Maybe Jenn has a different answer than my hypotheticals. maybe she wants her to be in a pet home, with a yard, where no one will ever witness her again except for the neighbors who now have to hear 2 dogs barking. Mithuna; what do you bring to the table? can you cure world hunger?
