Help! Puppy has a bump on its muzzle. - Page 1

the muzzle has a bump. I will send a picture just e/mail me. I can't figure out if this is a defect or not. Help!

How long has the bump been there? How old is the puppy? Does it seem painful for the pup? Touching the bump, is is soft or firm? Can you feel any 'heat' or excess warmth when you touch this bump? Can you move it, or does it appear to be solidly in place? Is the puppy acting normally otherwise--eating, drinking, urinating & defecating OK; typically playful and active for a pup of its age? Let's start with those questions and build from the answers, and I'm sure we'll be able to figure out what's going on with this pup.
