If I understand things as presented, the questionable expenses incurred prior to the actual event were never presented until after the end of the event. This untimeliness has not been conducive to everlasting trust between the linked organizations.

WDA filed for an Injuction in Colorado.  Hearing was today and WDA prevailed.  GSDCA is enjoined from interferring with WDA's running of the Qualification Trial.  Word is that GSDCA will not file in Arkansas (state of the Qualifier).

Thanks for the info, many, especially the competitors,  will breath a sigh of relief.

What does all of this mean to the member who just wants to train and title his/her dog? I appreciate all the specifics of finances and all sorts of other information but I just want to know how this effects the normal folks and not the big wigs.

by zdog on 03 June 2014 - 16:06

basically it means those that want to train and compete have to suffer so those that do neither can take turns pissing on each other

"What in the world is the RSV 2000. Is that another group of 6 or 7 intrepid nere-do-wells who are putting together an organization in their sister's dining room as in the the North Amercan Schurzhund Association from years gone by."

One should be more informed before one makes stupid statements as above!

Yo there Bobby:

Sounds like I was right afterall. But in an effort to give some credence to your remarks, are we to assume that Dr. Raiser has his own organization now which doubtlessly has attracted thousands of members worldwide and challenges the various dog organizations of the world for recognition.  The Most Reverend Raiser has been randomly rattling chains and variously shaking bushes in his efforts to seek recognition and credibility for his opinion of the worthwhile characterisics for the German Shepherd Dog in the dogsport for many years. Admittedly, I haven't heard much from him lately. Is Helmut still involved involved with the SV or has he worn out his welcome? In your apparent reverance and respect to Dr. Raiser, have you forsaken the SV, GSDCA, GSDCA-WDA and USCA and joined his group of devined devotees in their pious search for the Holy Grail of German Shepherd Dogs yet?  Get back to me when the RSV2000 is accepted or accredited by either the; WUSV, SV, FCI, VDH, AKC, CKC, AWDF, USCA, GSDCA-WDA, GSDCA.

I thought they were already, by at least some on that list. but maybe I read it wrong.  It was a year or more ago

by bzcz on 03 June 2014 - 23:06

RSV2000 is a member of the FCI, has pedigrees that are recognized by the FCI and is recognized by the SV.  Not sure about the rest.
