No, Matt Levin, I did not speak to Ritzi, or Dean.  Nor did I say I had.  Regular Smile    I asked a simple question.   You are being entirely, and interestingly, too defensive.  It's not as if I had accused or implied that you slashed tires, or something!!   Chill!Regular Smile

Nia Cottrell,

Don't blame me for your problems.

You wrote, "Curious-- how many "tracking coordinators" were there? You are the third person I have heard or read claim to have been "the" tracking coordinator AND also claim to have pointed out the same problems to TPTB. "

You brought it up.  You live with the consequences.  I don't get excited, I just refuse to live in the cesspool of your life.  Every post you've tried to sling mud.  Keep at it.  Makes you look good.

On to more worthwhile endeavors (of which wasting my time responding to Nia is NOT).

Dog1,

I have talked to Dan Yee about the treasurer's report and when I get a chance later tonite, I will write it all down and post it.

Matt,

It will be great to hear the WDA response.

The GSDCA has their information on their website; here's the link:

So this is my understanding of the WDA treasurer's report after talking to Dan Yee.

There are two levels of committment WDA feels that GSDCA made to them.  The First Committment they feel is rock solid, set in stone that GSDCA agreed to fund the costs associated with the 2013 Worlds.  The 16k are all direct costs related solely to the Worlds.  They are for the items listed in the budget.  The vehicle rentals, the helper tryouts, meals, and the some of the costs for the world team and team captains expenses.

The second level of committment is that WDA believes that GSDCA made financial promises to help pay for expenses leading up to the 2013 Worlds.  This includes the costs of the GSDCA team going to the 2012 Worlds, the 2013 Worlds, the joint qualifer and the WUSV Universal Sieger Competition.  WDA has emails from GSDCA promising them so much money for each event.  Dan Yee said that GSDCA has paid some of the money but not all that WDA believes was promised to them.  This amount of the money is the roughly 8k difference of the minimum of 165000 to 24500.

Again, this is my understanding after talking to Dan Yee.  I could be remembering something wrong, but I did take notes while we talked and tried to report it exactly as he told me without any interpretaion or bias on my part. Regardless, this is still second hand info for this list, since you have to rely on me to report what Dan Yee said.  Someone else could also call him and verify if I made a mistake.  He's a little hard to get ahold of but easy to talk to.

I agree that the wording of the treasurer's report is not the best, but what Dan Yee said, makes sense with what the report says.  I think that this is a case of needing to be there to understand what the report really means.

I read Frank's letter,  Don't know if we should discuss that here or on a different thread.

I have also heard (unconfirmed at this point) that WDA filed suit in Colorado against GSDCA and that GSDCA has filed for an injunction against WDA in Arkansas regarding the Joint Qualification Trial.

It's all a mess.  Nobody is going to "win".  Now I know why a bunch of my shepherd friends have Malinois.

Don,t blame the dogs for a ego driven political issue.

Bob,

I don't blame the dogs, I blame the people.  We have 2 organiztions, with RSV 2000 starting so now 3, and what, we're going to have 4? when this mess is done? Or a different 3?  Its people driven politics that makes the dogs suffer.

What in the world is the RSV 2000. Is that another group of 6 or 7 intrepid nere-do-wells who are putting together an organization in their sister's dining room as in the the North Amercan Schurzhund Association from years gone by.
