Ollewo carots - Page 1

Can someone tell me how should i give my dog "Ollewo carots" ? I have heard something about sunoil and hot water. Is that true? Does this help for a better colour? I tied to give them in the food but that caused diaria to my dog. What is your advice?

nastazia, Maybe you gave your dog to much at one time. I'm not familiar with Olewo, but maybe if you put it in the food gradually like you would on changing the dog food. I'm sure someone else has more experience than I do with it.

You have to soak them in hot water and a bit of oil for about 10-15 min before using. They expand and become soft in water so do not give them to your animals without soaking them first.

That "oil" should be a germ oil, such as sunflower oil or wheat germ oil. Don't exptect your dog to change colors because you feed it Olewo carroten pellets. Stephen

Like JudyK said you have to soak them first. I soak mine for 20 minutes in hot water and then add it to my dogs food. The Olewo Carrots do bring the red out in the coat. Just be careful not to give to much as it will give a red tinge to the black part on your dog also. If this happens dont worry....just stop giving then the Olewo for a little bit and the tinge will go away.
