Beautiful, Birgit!
What kind of camera do you have? I swear...the bicolor could be my dog if she had a tad more gray on her muzzle! Is that a male or female?

I saw these on Facebook I think - that black male is a stunner! Love him!! The redder sable would have to be my second favorite, though they are all gorgeous. I always enjoy your pictures.

Beautiful dogs, that bi-color looks serious.
Dogs really do have so much fun in the snow.

It is just a canon rebel T2. I actually upgraded to a very expensive ($3,000) Sony and went back to my Canon (sold the sony) . The bi-color is my Henry :)

I don't mean Henry is girly...more like Capri is very masculine. My son thought it was her. The face, the intensity...wow. Very, very similar.
Wow, Rebel, huh? I was expecting more expensive. I have a nice Sony, nicer than a Rebel, but not $3k...and I like certain things but honestly, liked my old Nikon D40 better for many things. Maybe a Rebel is something to consider. What setting were you using? Manual or one of the automatics? Those are exactly the type pics I want. Reading a hundred reviews from people who don't shoot active dogs doesn't do me much good.
Beautiful dogs, and nice to see them out having fun. I think people forget that there are people with multiple dogs that do not stack them in cages 3 high!!! Nice to see happy, healthy dogs kept by people "in the business."

I use automatic settings when I am outside. I turn on the sport/action shot setting and take lots of pictures. I do play ball with my dogs every day to make sure they get plenty of exercise. I took these pictures with my son throwing the ball and they always turn out pretty good. Jenni, you are correct, I do have several dogs and if the day ever comes where I can't clean, feed or properly take care of them they will be gone. The T2i with a nice lense will do the trick for anyone that loves action shots.
