Progesterone Testeing: How long it takes to get the result?

You can usually get the results in 24 hours. Sometimes it will take 48, but Ive always gotten mine the next morning and thats being sent out. You can get it faster at a vet that does labwork 'in house'.

Ryken, If the Vet has the capability to have the test done inhouse, you should have the result within 1-3 hours. To wait more than 24 hrs, makes no sense, you might miss the right time to mate your bitch. Normally the right time for my bitch is the 14th day after her cycle started. I have a test done on the 10th -11th day and then depending on the outcome, every 2 days. It is good to have a early reference test done, makes it more easy to determen the right moment.
