A friend of mine had a litter of showline pups. Some of the pups have white hair on some spots, will this go away as they get older? Is this a disqualification?

Many pups have small white mar when very young but these often fade and disapear as they grow up. It is not a DQ to have small white areas, for example on the chest or toes, but it is not something that is desirable.

I had a male that had a tiny white spot on his chest when I got him at 8 weeks - hardly noticeable and went away.

What about when they are working line and black and bi-color? My six month bi-color still has his white spot. And my new black 2 month puppy has an even bigger white spot.

It's a fault, but for example the sieger Larus v Batu, has a lot of white! Don't worry because are faults more importants.

Last year I had a litter and 1 sable female had a white spot on her chest. I ran into the puppy and new owner a little later and her spot got bigger. Well when they sent me a picture of her at a year old it was gone. The litter I have now, my all black and black sable with rich pigment has spots, but you can tell that their going away, their shrinking in size.
