Hi Everyone,

I want to trial both my GSD's for their RH titles.
I've read the current IRO rule book, built some of the agility equipment (and then some) for the dexterity portion of the test, and have been training on this equipment with my male for about 9 months.
I am a member of SDONA.
They're should have videos up on their website showing how the dogs are supposed to work the different obstacles but they don't and I've not been able to locate some good videos.

Has anyone here been to or competed in an RH trial?
Does anyone have any links to some videos' of one of these trials?
They only section I'm unsure of and have not buitl a piece of equipment for, is the jump and variations of.

For those of you who do not know what the RH title is.....it's a title that is awarded to dogs that have to perform duties similar to what a certified search dog would have to perform during a real life SAR mission. It's not meant to replace formal SAR certifications but has been used as a tool to determine if a dog is suitable to do SAR work.
I think it's  a pretty cool title and has been a lot of fun training for.

Any help you guys can offer is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Cheri

There is two types of RH Titles. Sport and Working Search Dogs.

So it's not only a suitability test. Furthermore, dogs with the RH 2B are now eligble to go through the Koerung, just like with the IPO or HGH.

This is one of the best German RH Handlers.
