I have never done IPO, but I believe the pattern of the routine's are different. I hope that helps some.

OK, my ignorance is showing now, so is it an Austrian title? Basically the same thing, just a different country?

IPO is very similar to SchH but it is little bit harder to obtain it because pattern are little bit complicated.

My ignorance is showing to then. I'm not that familiar with IPO. I believe it's an international event. Here is a website that might help you out. www.nwk9.com/working_titles.htm and if the link doesn't work then just go to www.nwk9.com and they have a lot of things you can check out.

That is a wonderful site. She has so much information there in one place. And she knows how to read dogs.

Slight difference in routine and point allocation, IPO judging usually a little less stringent as far as correct positioning, etc. as police dogs are not always as correct as SchH-only competition dogs. Not nnecessary to be a uniformed officer (IN UNIFORM) for IPO like it is for DPO. Hope that helps. SS
