Yeah- Its nice to see guys that can take a bite in the a** and keep on going! lol Gawd I LOVE the ringsports!! Um, the music was verry interesting.. Made me laugh..
4pack- Take a basket or tub of somesort, and begin "target"training on that object. Making sure that BOTH front legs are IN the object.. Once you get the pup to recognize that as a target, then train with a long line, and have someone else try to get pup away, when the pup gets that person away, pull back to target... That is the begining of the "article guard.." It takes a while to get there, but I have the rest of the "steps".. I believe that is the basics in it. Then you have the when to "attack", and retreat.. So I know that there is more, but I believe your pup is old enough to do the Target trianing.
Anyone else have a better way to explain it? Or hell a better way to do it?
