Thanks a bunch Denese, for your thoughtfulness.

I did not see your post until after I bought one from Petco this evening.

After shopping all day on line, I bought the Precision 8 panel 4' tall gold pen.  I could not find a big enough difference in quality between the brands and my Petco carried it for (on sale) for $90.00.

When I talked to the people at Precision they told me that the verticals were 6 ga. and the horizontals were 9 ga. and it has a nice full gate in one of the panels. Since Cisco is really well behaved in the house, that will work  for us.

Boy I should post pictures of Cisco's back...they match Dante's pictures. He even has that look of utter boredom while in the crate. So glad to hear Dante made a full recovery:)

Thanks Again Everyone for your help.

Take Care and have a Happy New Year.

wierd.... I was going to say petco..

Thats a good price, and no shipping!

Yeah, almost 5 years to the day.. Dante was injured...  eerie..

Vet/specialist said the same thing..  NO movement AT ALL for 8 weeks, except out to the yard, always on a leash.. even had to use something to support his back end up and down the one step..

He wound up breaking one of the screws about 6 weeks in..  2nd surgery.. then more confinement..

But he is really fine...  I think it was way worse on me...
I never left him for weeks..

I fed him this supplement during the ordeal..  not sure if it will matter on an older dog, but figured it wouldnt hurt. Vet said OK.

Here's Dante's xray..after he broke the screw.   Amazing, really, when you see what they were able to do to repair his spine..
