Animules, Yes, I saw the horse show reference - see what happens when I post too late?...anyway, yes, things like this go on in many organizations, even beyond sports. I have a background as a professional pianist, and I can certainly tell stories of orchestra auditions and instrumental competitions that have the same theme. It's everywhere, but it doesn't mean that the membership of these organizations should just quietly accept things either, pretending that these issues don't exist. I wasn't at your regionals, and I know there are 2 sides to every story. What was presented, however, had plenty of support material. We still haven't heard anything from the 'other side' other than some blustering. I'm not taking sides, but I do appreciate that someone took time to write everything out very clearly with support material, rather than just jumping on every forum and ranting about injustices. There's alot of detailed reading material. I would hope the memberships will read and at least take a moment to think about what was presented. I was really suprised that the 2007 DVG nationals will take place where there are breed bans. Is there any allowance for competitors?
