November 4th, Kiggy had her 5-1 booster shot. But unlike the shot she had (ivermectin), she booster shot was good. she didn’t react or anything, which is pretty good. Next week or maybe next next week.. she’ll have her rabies vaccine. One more to go young lady!
I’m kinda' happy that with those kinds of shot that she had, we never experienced any problems when it comes to her health. Oh. one.. but I don’t think it’s really something to worry about.. she pukes yellow foam.. but it’s very easy to handle. When a dog vomits yellow stuffs, it could mean that it’s stomach is empty. but there might be other potential medical concerns.. so we still have to observe our pets. Luckily with Kiggy her problem is just having an empty stomach and that means she needs to be fed immediately.. there are times that she plays so hard, that she doesn’t like to finish her food, or if there isn’t enough milk in her food (she’s really like a baby). Well good thing that feeding her more frequently is the only thing that we have to do rather than rushing her to the vet and have her medicated.. cheers!

Secondly, wondering where you're getting your instructions to inject your dog with ivermectin, since there's no version of that product labeled for that route of administration in dogs...are you treating your dog empirically [on your own], or under the guidance of your vet?

1. Yeah I'm posting my BLOG here.. as far as I know.. as long as I am posting what's happening with my dog (and it's all about my dog..).. it's ALRIGHT... right? or if it's not.. please let me know.. :)
2. We do get instructions from our vet. The reason why we are the ones who administer it, is because our dog is very agressive and because my husband had lots of experience with dogs since he had lots of pitbulls and he's been with them for decades already....our vet entrusted the administering to him..and don't worry about the dosage we ask our vet. :)

The vast majority of the people on here are in to working their dogs. Many do schutzhund with them, which is a combination of tracking obedience and protection. We believe GSDs and Mals are working breeds, and need a job to do, so we are a bit different from the average pet dog owner.
Are you training your dog for anything?
If you need help overcoming his aggression issues, there are many people here who can give you advice, and perhaps recommend a good trainer.

And thank you for confirming that you're treating your dog under the advisement of your veterinarian, and according this his instructions. I wanted to be sure that was mentioned so others wouldn't get the mistaken idea that they could just go ahead and inject their own dogs with ivermectin without being instructed to do so by their veterinarians.

We talked to different trainers already).. but living 3 months or so without Kiggy is really really hard for us. I'm sorry. I hope everyone could atleast understand that. I could be the bravest to tell it here. Coz I know there are lots of owners here, with the same experience but are afraid to share maybe because they're afraid of criticisms.. I am too..but not anymore.
Now... since we cannot bring her outside. we still made sure that she could still play and exercise atleast for the mean time while we're looking for the better solution. we're still hopeful that there maybe other ways to improve her lifestyle.
We made this blog for her (in other sites) and I wasn't able to mention it here. How did she end up being aggressive? Improvements? I may not post it anymore. But to assure you.. we're trying our best to change her. we were able to let her out of the house without being aggressive..(our biggest achievement so far) we're taking one step at a time.. and we're not stopping from there.. I just hope... BEST OWNERS here will be nicer now. cheers!!!
Best regards from KIGGY.
