Sorry it took so long to update this, after over 7 or 8 negative at home tests, I sort of gave up. Well, day before yesterday, to humor my poor husband, I tested again. POSITIVE! Went and had it confirmed yesterday, as of right now, without bloodwork/etc... best guess is about maybe 11wks along, due May 16th.

Beau, without a doubt, TOLD me I was pregnant before any test ever could. Hell, I am almost three months along and JUST NOW got a positive pregnancy test! Doctors are baffled.

This is our first child (well, second to my beloved Beau, who has been nothing but perfect!)

Here is my original post, the one that this current is going back to:

DDR,

I am so happy for you 3. I have family that waited a very very very long time and they finally got lucky and adopted a baby. Please keep us updated and let us know when Nick is finally spotted, lol.

Thank you DaWulf, sadly no, Abby, as we called her (real name Morgan) her owners were camping in the area, she slipped her collar and they had been looking for her ever since. They said they had tried calling me but my phone kept going to voicemail (that IS true, I was in the UP of Michigan and phone was in roaming, IF it had even roaming signal).

Finally, they called when we got home, sent me pictures of her with their young daughter, emailed me vet records showing she WAS being taken care of. Abby WAS a runner while we had her, I totally believe she slipped her collar. Anyway, they came by, and Abby was so happy to see them, they were both crying, their daughter was so happy to see her doggy again. Sucky part? They came and got her on my birthday. Cry Smile

Admin, Thank you so much! Nick is planning the diaper party for the guys, and my mother in law is planning the baby shower, we're thinking around March. I wanted to not be 8-9 months pregnant and entertain a bunch of people. I'm not a people-person as it is, much less be all blimp like and prancing around LOL.

So wonderful to hear your friends adopted, I know they often have to wait a minimum of what, a year? Most wait over 5, is what I heard! I understand there's a lot of paperwork, but if babies were in such dire straights, not even just in third world countries, but our own backyards, you'd think they would find a way to speed it up, at least a little!

DDR, my sister took a boat load of pregnancy tests that all came out negative, then went into the hospital because she thought she was dying and found out through ultrasound that she was five months pregnant! True Story!

Congratulations to you by the way!! Babies/kids are a BLAST!

Oh have mercy BroncoK, I hope to high heaven I'm not THAT far along...A spring baby would be lovely, no winter babies, I live in MI and HATE driving in the snow! LOL

Must've been so scary for her, to find out that she was so far along! I know I was terrified when they made "the guess" that I was 3 months along, had been drinking (not excessivly) and not taking prenatals...though, that being said, my sudden craving for copious amounts of Vlasic Dill Pickles was explained...Thinking

Aww that is too bad, but I am happy for her family to be reunited with her, nonetheless!! It sounds like she is well loved and cared for. Bless you again for saving her in the first place!!

I wouldn't be too worried DDR! My sister did the same thing ;), she thought she was going crazy when she would wake up the next morning with a "hang over" after one glass of wine! Her sweet little boy came out wild and healthy!
